How Two Suspected Robbers was Arrested in Bauchi

The Bauchi Police Command has reported the arrest of two individuals suspected of robbery in the state capital.

According to a statement from Police Public Relations Officer Ahmed Wakil on Tuesday, the suspects confessed to their involvement in robbery operations and admitted to stealing various valuable items from several homes.

The statement noted that among the recovered items were five laptops, four mobile phones, five power banks, a router, six wristwatches, a jam box, and a clipper, marking a significant achievement.

The statement detailed that early on Monday, August 26, 2024, the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), led by Sani Mohammed and working with the Yan Committee, intercepted a tricycle carrying suspicious individuals in the Unguwan Jahun area of Bauchi.
Despite attempts by the suspects to escape, two—Aliyu A. Aliyu, 24, also known as Jagaba, and Abdulrahman Ibrahim, 17, also known as Abdun Umma—were apprehended at the scene. Both are from the Jahun area of Bauchi metropolis.
