The topic of Nnamdi Kanu’s release was not discussed by former president Olusegun Obasanjo with the governors of the South East on Tuesday in Enugu, he has revealed.
The alleged planned release of Kanu by the federal government was not discussed during the meeting between the governors and Chief Emeka Anyaoku, the former president, at their own invitation. Issues related to infrastructure and security as well as regional development were covered, according to a statement released on Wednesday by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi.
