Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, widely recognized as Ijoba Lande, a popular Nollywood actor, has opened up about his marital struggles. He stated that if he were to reveal the identities of the men who have been involved with his wife within the entertainment industry, it could put his safety at risk.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the actor shared the emotional pain caused by his wife, Muyibat, before their separation. He alleged that she often provoked him, hoping he would react angrily, but he chose not to.

“Before she left, my wife put me through a lot. She would intentionally provoke me to get a violent reaction, but I never gave in. It’s not easy for a man to hurt a woman he loves. Even though she did so much to hurt me, I didn’t want our marriage to end, so I tried to endure,” he explained.

Ijoba Lande also highlighted the financial struggles that added to his challenges. He reminisced about a time when he was earning up to ?3 million per month from Facebook and another ?3 million from YouTube, in addition to his influencer partnerships. However, his financial situation changed drastically when he was demonetized, leading to a tough period for him.

Amid these hardships, the actor accused his wife of infidelity, claiming that she refused to be intimate with him while engaging with other men.

“My wife used to claim her hormones weren’t working whenever I asked for intimacy, but she suddenly found the energy for other men outside. That has made me wary of women,” he said.

He further added, “This is the same woman who kept my ATM card when I had money and was in charge of my finances. I gave her everything, including my earnings from ‘ajo,’ which she would contribute to, but I would pay for it.”

Ijoba Lande also claimed that he hadn’t been intimate with his wife for eight months. At a naming ceremony for their child, he observed his wife dancing with another man, who even tapped her on the backside.

He concluded, “If I start naming the men who’ve been with my wife in this industry, I might not make it home before they come for me, because some of them have powerful connections.”
