Ikire Shuts Down as APC Flagbearer Oyebamiji Returns Home in Triumph

Ikire was thrown into a festive mood today as residents trooped out in large numbers to welcome their illustrious son, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), following his successful outing at the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

As the leading gubernatorial candidate of the APC, the largest political party in Africa and Nigeria, Asiwaju Oyebamiji received a heroic welcome from supporters, community leaders, youths, and party faithful who lined the streets in celebration. The atmosphere across the town was filled with excitement and jubilation, clearly reflecting his wide acceptance, popularity, and the deep love he enjoys among his people.

As part of his homecoming, the APC flagbearer paid a courtesy visit to the Akire of Ikire, His Royal Majesty Oba Olatunde Falabi Lambeloye III, where he received royal blessings and prayers. He also visited the Alapomu of Apomu, His Royal Majesty Oba Adenekan Afolabi, reaffirming his respect for traditional institutions and cultural heritage.

The massive turnout and warm receptions underscored the strong bond between Asiwaju Oyebamiji and his hometown, further reaffirming his position as a unifying figure and a leader of choice. The historic welcome signals growing momentum and widespread support for his aspirations as he moves forward after his resounding victory at the APC primary election.
