JAMB Sets Date for Release of 2025 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be officially released on Friday, May 9, 2025.
According to a statement shared with Firstclassgists, the results will be unveiled during a formal event at JAMB’s national headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, beginning at 8 a.m. This means that candidates who took part in the examination can begin accessing their scores from Friday morning.
JAMB also shared performance statistics for this year’s exam, revealing that out of the 1.9 million candidates who sat for the test, over 1.5 million scored below 200—the commonly regarded benchmark for competitive admission.
The UTME, graded out of a total of 400 marks, evaluates candidates in four subjects. While English Language is compulsory, students select three additional subjects that align with their intended course of study.
