…. _Calls for Unity, Discipline as APC Intensifies Mobilisation in Osun
Osogbo — Former governorship aspirant and renowned legal practitioner, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke SAN (K-RAD), has formally mobilised his local government political structures across Osun State in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2026 election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
The move, widely seen as a significant boost to the party’s grassroots strength, is aimed at consolidating unity within the APC and strengthening its mobilisation machinery ahead of the gubernatorial contest.
Addressing his local government coordinators at a strategic meeting in Osogbo over the weekend, K-RAD described the current phase as a defining moment for the party, stressing that victory in the 2026 election would depend largely on discipline, loyalty, and effective grassroots engagement.
According to him, the commitment of coordinators at the local government level remains critical to the success of the APC. He urged them to close ranks, work collectively across wards and communities, and channel their political energy toward ensuring victory for the party.
K-RAD charged the coordinators to actively mobilise supporters and project the APC’s agenda of good governance, inclusive development, and people-centred leadership across the state.
Reaffirming his confidence in the party’s candidate, K-RAD expressed strong belief in AMBO’s capacity to deliver purposeful and people-oriented leadership if elected, calling on party members to remain focused, united, and steadfast in the build-up to the 2026 gubernatorial election.
The endorsement and mobilisation of K-RAD’s grassroots structures for AMBO are expected to further stabilise the APC in Osun State and significantly reinforce its reach at the grassroots as preparations for the polls intensify.
