*K-RAD Submits Nomination Forms at APC National Secretariat, Ready for Senatorial Screening*

Leading aspirant for the Osun Central Senatorial District seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), *Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-RAD)*, has formally submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, signaling his readiness for the party’s screening process ahead of the 2026 senatorial primaries.

Adegoke submitted the completed forms on Thursday morning, reaffirming his commitment to providing purposeful, people-oriented, and effective representation for the people of Osun Central at the National Assembly.

The development comes on the heels of a major endorsement by elders and leaders of the APC in Osogbo Local Government, further strengthening the growing momentum behind his aspiration.

At a widely attended consultative meeting in Osogbo, party elders unanimously expressed confidence in Adegoke’s candidacy, describing him as a credible, tested, and grassroots-oriented leader with the competence, integrity, and capacity required to effectively represent the district.

Speaking on behalf of the forum, Chairman of the Osogbo Local Government Elders Forum, Alhaji Raimi Adegboye (Baba Fefe), offered prayers and formally endorsed the aspiration.

“God is with you, we are with you, and the people of Osogbo are with you. This ticket is for you. May you serve Allah and our people faithfully when you eventually become our senator,” he declared.

The meeting attracted influential party stakeholders, including Hon. Femi Adejumo, Secretary of the Elders Forum; Hon. Adeoye Adelakun, APC Central Senatorial Leader; Elder Onibonokuta; Hon. Saheed Onibonokuta, Chairman of Osogbo Local Government; Hon. Mustapha Adetomi, former Chairman of Osogbo Local Government; and Hon. Layi Oyeduntan, former Osun State Commissioner for Health, among others.

In his remarks, Adegoke described his aspiration as a collective mission rooted in service, development, and inclusive representation.

“This is a call to service, not a personal ambition. It is a collective movement to uplift our people, deepen representation, and deliver tangible progress across our communities. I am humbled by this show of trust and encouraged by the unity of purpose we are building,” he said.

The event also witnessed the presence of a strong delegation from Olorunda Local Government, underscoring the expanding grassroots support for Adegoke’s candidacy across the senatorial district.

Political observers believe that the combination of broad-based endorsements, growing grassroots mobilization, and early compliance with party nomination procedures positions K-RAD as a formidable contender as the APC primary race enters a decisive phase.

With the successful submission of his nomination forms, Adegoke is now set for the APC screening exercise scheduled to hold between May 6 and May 9, 2026, ahead of the party’s senatorial primaries slated for May 20, 2026.

Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-RAD), a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), is a distinguished legal practitioner, public affairs advocate, and grassroots-driven leader widely respected for his intellectual depth, bridge-building disposition, integrity, and unwavering commitment to community development. Over the years, he has built a reputation for principled leadership, advocacy for justice, and consistent engagement with people at the grassroots. His senatorial aspiration is anchored on responsive representation, sustainable development, youth empowerment, economic inclusion, and strategic legislative interventions aimed at advancing the socio-economic growth and prosperity of Osun Central Senatorial District.
