Kano Judiciary Looting: Missing Items, Including Gun, Still Missing

Baba Jibo Ibrahim, Public Relations Officer for the Kano Courts, reported that the committee tasked with inventorying items stolen during the recent attack on the State High Court has yet to recover several items, including a firearm.
In an interview with Daily Trust on Monday, Ibrahim explained, “As of now, we have not yet recovered many of the stolen exhibits, including a gun. We are still in the process of compiling a comprehensive list of what’s missing.”
The looting, which occurred on the first day of the protests, resulted in significant damage and theft at the Kano High Court located at Audu Bako Secretariat.
Kano police spokesman Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa has advised the public to remain alert, avoid large crowds, and report any unfamiliar or suspicious individuals to the authorities.
