KRAD Commends Tailors’ Association for Endorsing AMBO, Says Support Reflects Confidence in Better Governance
Members of the Tailoring Association of Nigeria (TAN), Osun State Chapter, have unanimously endorsed the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), ahead of the August 15 governorship election in Osun State.
The endorsement was announced in Osogbo during a meeting between the association and the AMBO campaign team, which was attended by prominent legal practitioner and APC chieftain, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (KRAD).
The association said its decision was informed by the respect, recognition, and support that Oyebamiji has consistently extended to artisans and grassroots communities across the state. Members also displayed their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), reaffirming their readiness to mobilise support for the APC candidate at the polls.
Speaking at the gathering, Adegoke commended the tailors for their endorsement, describing it as a clear demonstration of the people’s trust in the vision and leadership capacity of AMBO.
He noted that artisans, particularly tailors, remain influential stakeholders within their communities through their interactions with customers, apprentices, families, and business associates, urging them to sustain voter mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.
According to him, the widespread acceptance of Oyebamiji across different professional and social groups reflects public confidence in his ability to provide purposeful and inclusive governance.
Adegoke further assured members of the association that an AMBO administration would prioritise the welfare and empowerment of ordinary citizens, especially artisans and small business owners who contribute significantly to the state’s economy.
“A vote for AMBO is a vote you will never regret. He possesses the experience, competence, and compassion required to move Osun State forward and deliver the dividends of democracy to every segment of society,” Adegoke stated.
