Man Found Dead in Room of Sex Worker in FCT Community

A tragic incident unfolded in the New Kutunku community within Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where a 31-year-old man, named Ajayi Nicholas, was found dead after collapsing inside a sex worker’s room.

According to a local resident, Josiah Gabriel, who spoke with our reporter on Tuesday, the event occurred on Saturday around 5 p.m. when Nicholas checked into a hotel in the area. Gabriel explained that the man reportedly collapsed as he was preparing to leave the room. In a panic, the woman immediately alerted the hotel manager.

The hotel manager recognized the deceased and quickly informed his family members, who live in the vicinity. Nicholas was subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Local police officers were soon called to the scene to conduct an investigation. “The body was taken to the mortuary, and the woman involved was detained for questioning,” Gabriel said.

A police officer, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed the event and stated that an autopsy was carried out before the body was transferred to the morgue.
