Manchester United Sack Manager Erik Ten Hag

Manchester United has officially terminated the contract of manager Erik ten Hag after two and a half years at the helm. The decision was communicated to the Dutchman by the club’s board on Monday morning, just a day after a disappointing 2-1 loss to West Ham at the London Stadium.
Ruud van Nistelrooy, who joined the club as Ten Hag’s assistant last summer, has been appointed as the interim manager.
Following the defeat to West Ham, Manchester United finds itself in a precarious position, sitting 14th in the Premier League with only three wins from their first nine matches. Additionally, they are ranked 21st out of 36 teams in the Europa League standings.
