Maryann Onwuchekwa: Kidnapped Woman Found Dead Along Expressway

Tragedy struck on March 7, as the lifeless body of Maryann Onwuchekwa was discovered along the expressway after being abducted by suspected kidnappers days earlier.
Sources indicate that Maryann, who had been attending her brother’s traditional wedding, was seized by the abductors during her return journey.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, and it is not yet known why the kidnappers chose to take her life. However, her body has since been retrieved from the location where she was found lifeless.
