Michelle Obama Will Skip Trump’s Inauguration

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has chosen not to attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, marking the second significant event she has missed in a span of two weeks. Her absence follows her decision not to attend the state funeral of former President Jimmy Carter, which drew attention from many who noticed her absence.
While former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, alongside former First Ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, are scheduled to attend the inauguration, Michelle Obama will not be present. The office of the former First Lady confirmed this decision but did not offer a detailed explanation for her choice.
