Monogamy Is Ineffective, Every Man Should Have Multiple Women’ – Seun Kuti
Seun Kuti, a well-known Nigerian musician, has expressed his controversial views on monogamy, asserting that it is ineffective.
The Afrobeat artist encouraged men to adopt polygamy, advocating for men to have multiple partners.
During an appearance on the ‘Bahd & Boujee’ podcast, Seun argued that having multiple women is a sign of power and wealth.
He stated, “Monogamy doesn’t work. A man of power needs the support of several strong women. These women are in your life because they are meant to be there, as ordained by the ancestors. You share your life with them.”
He also mentioned that his late father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, an Afrobeat legend, had over 100 concubines and famously married 27 women in one day.
Despite his stance, Seun Kuti is known to be married to a single woman, Yetunde Kuti.
