NAF Airstrikes Decimate Boko Haram Hideout in Chiraliya, Multiple Insurgents Eliminated

In a decisive blow against insurgency, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), under the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai, launched a precision airstrike on a Boko Haram stronghold located in Chiraliya, deep within the Timbuktu Triangle.
According to reliable reports from Zagazola Makama, the operation was executed around 6:00 PM on June 6, 2025, as part of the broader Operation KALACHEN WUTA II—a coordinated campaign aimed at disrupting terrorist activities around the Eid-el-Adha season.
Intelligence revealed that the targeted enclave was cleverly hidden beneath thick vegetation, but the NAF strike teams successfully identified and destroyed key enemy infrastructure. The mission resulted in the elimination of several Boko Haram fighters and the destruction of vital terrorist assets.
This strike is part of the continued efforts by Nigerian military forces to dismantle insurgent networks and ensure national security.
