Native Doctor Arrested After Testing Bulletproof Charm on His Customer, Ends in Customer Shot Dead

Timothy Dauda, a 19-year-old native doctor, has been taken into custody by the Edo State Police Command in connection with the death of Alex Ezekiel. The incident occurred in the Onumu community within Akoko-Edo Local Government Area.

Dauda, who is known for crafting charms intended to protect against firearms and machetes, was reportedly testing the effectiveness of one such charm on Ezekiel. According to Moses Yamu, a spokesperson for the police command, Ezekiel sought Dauda’s services to obtain a protective charm. After preparing the charm, Dauda allegedly tested it by shooting Ezekiel, resulting in severe injuries. Ezekiel was rushed to Ifejola Hospital in Igarra but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
