NDLEA Eliminates Husband’s Approval Letter Requirement for Married Women’s Visa Applications
PUBLIC NOTICE

The NDLEA is currently reviewing the visa clearance procedures mandated by certain countries. As part of this review, the requirement for married women to present a letter of approval from their husbands for travel has been removed from the list of necessary documents.
This requirement was initially implemented due to concerns arising from specific incidents in some countries of origin. However, the NDLEA assures the public that this stipulation has been officially removed during the ongoing review process, which will be detailed in an announcement soon.
