According to information from sources within the Kofar Kudu Palace, influential figures in Kano, reportedly including Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), are working to oust Sanusi.
Sanusi, who is also the 16th Emir of Kano and the head of the Kano Council of Chiefs, has been targeted by this group. The efforts to remove him appear to be driven by political motivations and disputes involving powerful local stakeholders.
