A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken the Nigerian community in France, as a Nigerian man has been reported to have killed another in a violent altercation over cult group dominance.

Disturbing footage circulating online shows the suspect being apprehended by French police, displaying a cold demeanor in the face of a crowd’s outraged response. Meanwhile, the victim’s body was seen being transported from the hospital to the morgue, marking the grim conclusion to this violent incident.

The news has triggered widespread condemnation from Nigerians both within the country and abroad, with many expressing their dismay on social media. One user remarked, “To escape to a country where systems work and waste that chance on cultism is disgraceful.”

French authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter, while the Nigerian community continues to demand justice and a deeper examination of the increasing problem of cultism, even beyond Nigeria’s borders.
