NYSC Confirms Death Of Corps Member In Osun Orientation Camp
FCGs reports that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has confirmed the death of a corps member at the orientation camp in Ede, Osun State.
The corps member identified simply as Bright, died in his sleep a few days ago.
FCGs gathered that the Public Relations Officer of NYSC in Osun State, Funmi Okundaye, confirmed the incident to the Punch but refrained from giving further details about the circumstances surrounding his death.
“What you read is that a corps member passed on in his sleep? That was exactly what happened; there is no other thing to add. Nothing to add or remove from it,” Okundaye said.
The 2023 batch ‘B’ stream 1 orientation course commenced on July 12 across the country and is scheduled to end on August 1.
