Odumodublvck Supports RCCG Fundraising Efforts, Pledges ₦1 Billion If Possible

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has publicly expressed his strong endorsement of donation appeals made by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
In a message shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account this Monday, the musician stated that if he were financially capable, he would willingly contribute ₦1 billion to the church. He highlighted that genuine service to God should come voluntarily and sincerely, rather than out of obligation.
Odumodublvck stressed the importance of financial support for the church, noting that many members of the congregation may not be in a position to give generously. He explained that these funds are essential for day-to-day church needs such as purchasing fuel for generators, facilitating evangelism activities, and assisting disadvantaged members who often rely on small handouts from pastors after services.
He said, “If I had ₦1 billion to give to RCCG, I wouldn’t hesitate to donate it and even more. Serving the Lord isn’t about compulsion; no one said you must give ₦1 billion to enter heaven.
“For me and my family, we will continue to wholeheartedly support God’s work without shame.
“No matter the criticism we face, it only proves the truth of the scriptures. God bless you all.”
According to FIRSTCLASSGISTS, the RCCG’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, recently called on church members to make significant financial contributions, requesting millions and billions of naira to fund various church initiatives.
