Olejeme Backs Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Urges Delta Women to Support APC Leadership

A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Ngozi Olejeme, has reaffirmed her support for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sheriff Oborevwori, urging women across the state to rally behind the federal government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Olejeme, who served as a member of the 2023 Presidential Campaign Council and also holds the position of Vice President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, made the call while speaking after receiving a recognition award in Abuja over the weekend.
The event, which took place at the Women Development Centre, also honoured notable women, including the late Maryam Babangida and Joy Ogwu, who were recognised posthumously for their contributions to national development.
Speaking after receiving the award, Olejeme described President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a comprehensive and forward-looking policy framework aimed at stabilising Nigeria’s economy, strengthening public trust in governance, and fostering sustainable development across the country.
She also commended Governor Oborevwori for aligning Delta State with what she described as the progressive political family, noting that his administration has demonstrated purposeful leadership and commitment to unity within the party.
According to Olejeme, the governor’s approach to governance has helped restore political stability and cohesion among party members in the state. She therefore urged members of the party and stakeholders across Delta State to continue supporting his administration to consolidate ongoing achievements.
The former governorship aspirant expressed confidence that the collaboration between President Tinubu’s national development agenda and Governor Oborevwori’s leadership at the state level would usher in a new phase of progress and political consolidation in Delta State and Nigeria as a whole.
Olejeme also paid tribute to the Asagba of Asaba, Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, who attended the event alongside his wife. She commended the monarch for his leadership and commitment to the development of the Asaba community.
She further praised the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, particularly the President-General, John Azuta Mbata, as well as other executives of the organisation for their dedication to promoting unity and development among the Igbo people.
Highlighting the role of women in national development, Olejeme said women in Asaba and across Delta State have continued to make significant contributions to community growth and nation-building.
She emphasised that sustainable national development begins at the grassroots level, stressing the importance of strengthening local communities.
Olejeme also expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Asaba Development Union (ADU) Women Wing, led by its President, Janerose Buzugbe, for recognising her contributions and impact.
She assured that she would remain committed to promoting progress, peace, and stability while supporting initiatives that advance the welfare of communities in Delta State and across the country.
