Ondo Election: APC Natl Chairman, Ganduje Targets Osun and Oyo as APC Eyes Future Wins

Abdullahi Ganduje
Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has set his sights on Osun and Oyo States as the party’s next objectives following the victory of Lucky Aiyedatiwa in Ondo State’s recent gubernatorial election.
In his remarks after Aiyedatiwa’s victory was confirmed, Ganduje praised the new governor as a “marketable candidate” and expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his continued support.
Speaking to journalists in Akure, the Ondo State capital, Ganduje highlighted the integrity of the election process, noting that it was widely regarded as free, fair, and credible by all major stakeholders, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“This victory reflects the strength of democracy. The election was transparent and credible, and the people chose the APC for continuity and progress, ensuring no projects are left unfinished,” Ganduje stated.
He further emphasized that Aiyedatiwa’s success was due to the APC’s effective campaign strategy, stating, “He was a candidate we could confidently present to the people, and we appreciate the support from President Tinubu.”
Looking ahead, Ganduje confirmed that the party’s focus would now be on securing victories in Osun and Oyo States, adding, “We are skilled at achieving our targets and will continue to work towards further APC success.”
