Onokpasa Urges Tinubu to Revamp Team, Criticizes Lagos-based Advisers(Video)

Mr. President, many of us supported you due to your proven track record in Lagos. While your efforts in mobilizing Lagosians to address local issues were commendable and expected, the same approach cannot be applied to the entire nation. Mobilizing Lagosians to fix Nigeria is inherently flawed and ineffective.

You cannot rely solely on a Lagos-centric team to address national challenges. It is essential to build a team that reflects the diversity and needs of all Nigerians, not just those from Lagos. Unfortunately, the current advisers you brought to Abuja, including your Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, are failing in this regard.
To make real progress, you need to dismantle this predominantly Lagosian team and replace it with a truly national core. Your current team seems more focused on personal gain rather than advancing your vision or Nigeria’s interests. Many of them have been more interested in benefiting from their positions rather than contributing meaningfully to the country’s progress.
Please consider restructuring your team, starting with Gbajabiamila. It’s crucial to replace them with individuals who bring fresh ideas and a genuine commitment to national development. A Nigerian team, rather than a Lagos-centric one, is necessary for achieving the results we all aspire to.
