Osun APC Blasts Governor Adeleke Govt Over Alleged ₦300m Fraud by Female Permanent Secretary

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke of condoning and shielding high-level corruption under its watch.
Information has it that some of the political functionaries have been taking an undue advantage of the administrative hollowness of the governor to loot their ministries and work stations.
We demand: what could have been the reason for the Adeleke administration, which professes, even though falsely, accountability and rule of law to be shielding a female Permanent Secretary who was caught to have embezzled over N300 million government fund?
A government that claims to be above board would not make the corruption issue against the indicted Permanent Secretary a discreet affair with an arrangement for her to be repaying the verifiably stolen state government money.
Why is the government afraid to prosecute the indicted Permanent Secretary by the way of handling her to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC)?
We implore the police and the EFCC to move in without further delay with a view to doing instant justice to the sleaze said to have been perpetrated by wife of one of the prominent serving commissioners in the state.
Covering up the corruption involving the wife of a cabinet member is an indelible stain on the administration of Governor Adeleke.
