Osun APC Gubernatorial Aspirant, Bola Oyebamiji, Reaffirms Commitment to Accountability at Performance Bond Signing Ceremony
Bola Oyebamiji, FCIB, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and a leading aspirant for the governorship of Osun State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), was a key participant at the Performance Bond Signing Ceremony held during the ongoing Ministerial Retreat in Abuja.
The event, graced by the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, and the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary/Accounting Officer, underscored a shared commitment to transparency, accountability, and measurable performance in advancing the Ministry’s strategic objectives.
Oyebamiji described the ceremony as a pivotal step in promoting performance-driven leadership and a culture of accountability within public service. “This process is not just symbolic—it speaks to the core of what responsible leadership should be: transparent, result-oriented, and guided by the public good,” he stated.
He further affirmed that these same principles will serve as the foundation of his vision for Osun State, should he be entrusted with the mandate to serve as governor. With a strong track record in public finance and institutional leadership, Oyebamiji emphasized his readiness to bring transformational governance to Osun under the banner of the APC.
As Nigeria strengthens its focus on sustainable development through the marine and blue economy, Oyebamiji’s role at NIWA—and his continued alignment with national objectives—position him as a candidate deeply connected to both federal and state-level priorities.
His participation in the ceremony is another demonstration of his proactive leadership and unwavering dedication to service, accountability, and excellence.
