Over 100 People Join ADC from Other Parties in Zamfara

In a significant political development, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State has welcomed more than 100 new members from various political backgrounds over the past ten days.
Speaking to journalists in Gusau on Friday, the ADC state chairman, Alhaji Kabiru Garba, highlighted the increasing momentum behind the party as the 2027 general elections draw closer. He noted that the steady influx of new members reflects the growing confidence in the ADC’s vision and leadership.
“Within just ten days, over 100 individuals have joined us from other political parties,” Garba stated. “This shows that the ADC is gaining ground and becoming a major player in Zamfara politics.”
He emphasized that the party remains inclusive and open to all who align with its ideals, and revealed that discussions are ongoing with additional individuals and groups interested in joining the movement.
Garba also mentioned that the ADC would warmly receive Governor Dauda Lawal if he ever chose to switch allegiance to their party. “Should the governor decide to join, we will welcome him like any other member,” he affirmed.
He concluded by saying that even more defections are expected in the coming weeks as the party continues its efforts to expand and consolidate support across the state.
