Peseiro: Lookman More Technical Than Osimhen

Former Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has stated that Ademola Lookman of Atalanta is technically superior to Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker and Lookman’s teammate in the national team. This comment comes amid transfer rumors linking both players to Arsenal, as reported by FIRST CLASS GISTS.
Peseiro, who managed Nigeria to a second-place finish at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast, shared his perspective on the players’ skills and recent performances. He emphasized that Lookman, who has been performing exceptionally this season, is more adept at creating plays compared to Osimhen.
“Ademola is technically more gifted than Osimhen and is also contributing significantly to the scoring. He has been outstanding this year,” Peseiro told SportItalia via Football London. He also noted Lookman’s successful stint under Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini and praised his high level of play.
Both players have thrived this season due to their teams’ attacking styles. According to SportItalia, Arsenal is considering a substantial £42.5 million offer plus defender Jakub Kiwior to acquire Lookman from Atalanta, despite his impending transfer to PSG, which has affected his participation in the season’s early matches.
Sky Sports Deutschland reports that Lookman has agreed to terms with PSG, but Arsenal might still make a move, potentially offering a loan with an option to buy. Meanwhile, Arsenal is also interested in Osimhen, who is rumored to be a target for both Arsenal and Chelsea, with discussions ongoing for a potential transfer.
