Peter Obi Affirms Commitment to 2027 Presidential Bid, Declares Party

Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has reaffirmed his intention to run for president in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Speaking on the future of his political journey, Obi stated that he remains committed to the ideals of good governance and national transformation, and will once again seek the presidency under the platform of the Labour Party.
Obi emphasized that his decision is driven by a continued desire to offer credible leadership and to address the pressing socio-economic challenges facing Nigeria. He also reiterated his confidence in the Labour Party as a viable political alternative capable of driving progressive change.
