Ipetu Ijesa, November 2, 2023 — Today, the Irapada Movement celebrated Aropeju Day at its campaign office in Ipetu Ijesa, hosted by Professor Akinmoladun Ifedayo Andrew, the founder of the movement. This annual event highlights the commitment of the Irapada Movement to promoting social justice, community development, and political engagement in the region.

The celebration brought together members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), community leaders, and local residents, such as APC Chairmanship Candidate, Hon Ajimati Oladeji Benedict, Ward 09 Chairman, Adeoye Jonathan, ward 10 chairman, Alhaji Rasaq , Ward 08 Councillorship aspirant, Hon Toyese, Mr Awotoye(ward 8 Leader), Hon Wale Famakinwa(ward 5 Councillorship aspirant) and others all united by a shared vision for progress and empowerment. Aropeju Day serves as a symbol of hope and resilience, celebrating the need for unity of the movement while acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead.
Hundreds Community members also participated in discussions focused on strategies for improving local governance, enhancing education, and fostering economic growth.

Attendees expressed their enthusiasm for the movement’s initiatives and the transformative impact they have had on the community. The sense of solidarity among participants was palpable, reinforcing the idea that progress is most effective when driven by the collective efforts of engaged citizens.
