Hon. Adeyemi Rasheed Adetona, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Councilorship candidate for Ward 11, Ijeda/Iloko, embarked on a new chapter in his life by marrying Idakwo Aishat in a lively and well-attended ceremony yesterday. The event brought together friends, family, and well-wishers from all walks of life, celebrating the union of these two outstanding individuals.

Known for his leadership and commitment to his community, Hon. Adeyemi Rasheed’s educational journey began at L.A. Primary School, where he was appointed Assistant Health Prefect, showcasing his early dedication to service and responsibility. He later attended Osowusi Muslim Commercial High School, where he excelled academically and was honored with the role of Senior Prefect in 2006, further developing his leadership skills.

A proud graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Hon. Adeyemi was deeply involved in student leadership. He represented the Oriade student body through the National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) and later served as President of the Federation of Iloko Ijesa Students Union, highlighting his passion for community development and student advocacy.

The wedding ceremony, held in Itobe, Kogi State, was a stunning celebration of culture and love. It attracted a diverse group of attendees, including religious leaders, military officials, political figures, business leaders, journalists, and members of both the public and private sectors. The presence of close family and friends added a personal and heartfelt touch to the occasion.

The day unfolded with traditional Muslim wedding rituals, followed by a grand reception filled with music, dancing, and joyous festivities. The bride, Idakwo Aishat, captivated everyone in a stunning wedding gown, while Hon. Adeyemi looked dashing in traditional Yoruba attire, symbolizing their deep respect for cultural heritage.
