Pregnant Woman Found Dead in Imo State Bush
The body of an unidentified pregnant woman was discovered in a bush along the Amaraku-Umudim Road in Isiala-Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
Reports indicate that the woman’s upper clothing had been removed by her assailants. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning, and the woman’s identity remains unknown.
A local resident, speaking anonymously, mentioned that there were no visible blood stains to suggest she was attacked by assailants. “The woman was found dead and abandoned in the bush. She was pregnant and had her upper garments stripped off. However, there were no signs of blood to indicate an attack,” the resident said.
Henry Okoye, spokesperson for the Imo State Police Command, stated that he had not been briefed on the situation but would provide information once available. As of the time of reporting, no further updates had been received.
