__Says “Mr. Integrity” Has Gone; Condoles Buhari Family, President Tinubu, and Nigerian Government__

Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him as a towering statesman and the embodiment of integrity in leadership.

In a statement issued on Sunday through the Ogungbangbe Media Front (OMF), the respected chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State and public figure paid glowing tribute to the late leader, whose death was officially announced earlier today.

Prince Ogungbangbe referred to President Buhari as “Mr. Integrity”, a man who symbolized discipline, simplicity, and moral uprightness throughout his decades of service to the Nigerian state.

Nigeria has lost one of its most principled and selfless leaders. Muhammadu Buhari was not just a former President; he was a national conscience, a standard-bearer of public morality, and a reference point for accountability in governance,” Ogungbangbe stated.

He noted that from his days as a military ruler to his historic return as a democratically elected President, Buhari maintained a consistent vision anchored in national unity, anti-corruption, and security.

“His leadership style was not flamboyant, but firm. His message was not always popular, but always sincere. Even in silence, he commanded respect. History will remember him not only for the offices he held, but for the values he upheld,” the statement read.

Prince Ogungbangbe further extended heartfelt condolences to the Buhari family, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian government, and the entire nation, urging Nigerians to honour his legacy by embracing the virtues of service, discipline, and national sacrifice that defined his life.

As we mourn this painful exit, may we find inspiration in his example and strength in the path he charted for a better Nigeria. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. Ameen,” he concluded.
