Reasons Simon Ekpa Must Be Apprehended Without Delay – CDS Christopher Musa
In an interview with Channels TV Nigeria, Chief of Defense Staff General Christopher Musa demanded the swift arrest and prosecution of Simon Ekpa, a notable separatist leader. General Musa accused the Finnish government of supporting Ekpa, thereby contributing to the unrest and violence in Nigeria.
“Simon Ekpa must be apprehended without delay and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” General Musa stated during the live broadcast. “His actions have resulted in significant instability within our country, and it is crucial that he faces justice.”
General Musa emphasized that Ekpa’s activities have significantly fueled the recent surge in violence in southeastern Nigeria. He pointed out that Ekpa’s separatist rhetoric and calls for civil disobedience have heightened tensions and hampered the government’s efforts to maintain peace and security.
