Security Forces Eliminate Infamous Bandit Leader Baƙo-baƙo and His Fighters in Katsina

In a significant operation, Nigerian joint security forces killed the notorious bandit leader known as “Baƙo-baƙo” and several of his fighters last night in the Batsari forest, located within the Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The coordinated assault involved the Nigerian Army, Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and local vigilante groups – CWC.
Baƙo-baƙo, a well-known bandit leader, had been responsible for numerous violent attacks and kidnappings that plagued communities across Katsina State. His death marks a critical victory in the ongoing battle against banditry in the region.
A local community leader expressed gratitude, stating, “This is a major win for our community. We appreciate the dedication and sacrifices of the security forces in restoring peace to our
area.”
