See Date Hajj Pilgrims will begin return journey to Nigeria, says NAHCON
The Chairman and CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, announced that Nigerian pilgrims would begin their return journey on June 22.
Arabi noted that 120 flights had transported nearly all the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
Expressing optimism about the success of this year’s Hajj, Arabi assured that no pilgrim would be left behind by the deadline.
In a recent press briefing in Abuja regarding the completion of the first phase of this year’s Hajj operations, he stated: “Nobody expected the 2024 Hajj to proceed smoothly. I am pleased to say that Allah has not let us down. Credit goes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice President, state governors, and other stakeholders.”
