See How Dangote Truck Crash Claims Three Lives in Lagos

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has confirmed that three people lost their lives in a tragic accident involving a Dangote truck (registration number DCG-TM-028) and multiple other vehicles.
According to information gathered by DAILY POST, the incident occurred when the Dangote truck, descending from Ita-Opo in Epe, suffered a brake failure, causing it to crash into several vehicles.
LASTMA’s General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, verified the accident in a statement released on Monday by Taofiq Adebayo, the agency’s Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment.
Bakare-Oki explained that the out-of-control truck struck a tricycle (license plate AGL 442 QC) and a parked Toyota Camry at the Ayeyoro traffic light before crashing into the Ayetoro Market Complex in Epe.
The tragic collision led to the deaths of the tricycle operator and two students from the Manpower Technical School. Their bodies were later taken to the mortuary at Epe General Hospital for further procedures.
