See How Man Was Stabbed and Robbed on His Way to Mosque in FCT

A man named Yahuza Aliyu was reportedly attacked and stabbed by suspected criminals on his way to a mosque in the Unguwar Dodo area of Gwagwalada, FCT. The assailants, who also stole two of his Android phones, fled the scene after the attack.
This incident follows a similar attack on November 24, 2024, when four drivers and two residents were robbed of their phones by hoodlums in the same area.
Sama’ila Bala, a local resident, explained that the attack occurred on Tuesday morning as Aliyu was heading to the mosque for the Subhi prayers. He said the perpetrators, riding a motorcycle, blocked the victim and demanded he hand over his phones. When Aliyu refused, one of the attackers pulled out a knife and stabbed him.
Bala expressed concern over the rising incidents of phone and handbag theft in the area, particularly around Tipper Garage and Unguwar Dodo, which have gained a reputation for such criminal activity. The victim was later taken to a private hospital for treatment.
