See how Soldier Accidentally Killed by Colleague in Katsina

The Defense Headquarters has reported that a naval officer stationed at FOB Dansadua for Operation FANSAN YAMMA shot and killed a fellow serviceman under unclear circumstances.
Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba, Director of Defense Media Operations, stated that the incident occurred around 0312 hours on Friday in the Dansadau area of Katsina State.
The shooter, identified as Leading Seaman Akila A, has been apprehended, disarmed, and is currently in custody. An investigation into the matter has been initiated, and the case will be forwarded to a standing court martial, which handles such offenses among military personnel.
In the meantime, the military is in the process of notifying the family of the deceased, which is why the name has not yet been released to the public. Buba emphasized that the name will be disclosed in due time and urged the media to report responsibly to avoid further distress for the family.
