A 55-year-old woman named Ifeoma tragically passed away shortly after collapsing while sharing her testimony at the Ministry Church in Lagos State’s Ejigbo area.
According to FIRST CLASS GISTS, the incident occurred at approximately 8:48 am during the Sunday service on September 8, 2024. Despite immediate medical attention, she died a few minutes later.
Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the state police command, confirmed the details to PUNCH Online on Wednesday. Hundeyin reported that Ifeoma had been singing in gratitude as she prepared to give her testimony when she suddenly collapsed.
She was taken to a local hospital but was later referred to the General Hospital in Isolo, where she was pronounced dead. Hundeyin added, “The Zonal Accountant of the church reported that during the testimony hour, Ifeoma fell while she was singing. Although she was rushed to a nearby hospital, she was transferred to the General Hospital in Isolo, where she was confirmed dead.”
Detectives were dispatched to the hospital, but they were informed that Ifeoma’s family had already transported her body to Anambra State for burial.
