See How Woman was Arrested for Supplying Weapons to Terrorist Leader Bello Turji

A 25-year-old woman, identified as Shamsiyya Ahadu, has been apprehended by the Joint Task Force troops from Sector 2, operating under Operation Fansan Yamma, on suspicion of trafficking ammunition to support criminal activities. The arrest occurred on December 28 in the Badarawa area of Shinkafi Local Government Area (LGA), Zamfara State.

According to a statement released on Sunday, Ahadu was found with 764 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and six magazines, which were intended for delivery to the camp of the notorious terrorist leader, Bello Turji.
The operation that led to her capture followed intelligence reports regarding the transportation of arms and ammunition from Kware to Badarawa. Responding swiftly, the military set up a roadblock, which resulted in the arrest of Ahadu and her accomplice, a motorcyclist named Ahmed Husaini.
Both suspects are currently under investigation by the relevant authorities. The military reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and preventing the illegal flow of weapons in the region.
In its statement, the military urged the public to continue providing reliable information that could help in the capture of wanted terrorists and their associates.
