See Reasons Yul Edochie Urges President Tinubu to Reinstate Cashless Policy
To my esteemed leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,
I respectfully encourage you to consider reintroducing the cashless policy. During its implementation by the previous government, this initiative significantly strengthened the naira’s value. It also contributed to lowering the cost of goods and restored the relevance of smaller currency denominations like the 5, 10, 20, and 50 naira notes. Additionally, the policy played a key role in reducing kidnapping rates across the country.
Please give this policy another thought, Sir.
