Four pilgrims from Kwara State have died while on the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. Their names are:

1. Saliu Mohammed
2. Hawawu Mohammed
3. Ayishat Ologele
4. Salman Alade

Recently, it was reported that Ayishat Ologele and Salman Alade passed away during their pilgrimage in Mecca. They were among the thousands of Nigerians participating in the Hajj pilgrimage.

These deaths follow those of Saliu Mohammed and Hawawu Mohammed, who were part of the third batch of the state contingent and died earlier in Madinah. This brings the total number of deceased Kwara pilgrims to four.

According to reports, Ologele fell ill while traveling from Medina to Mecca and subsequently died, while Alade also fell ill and passed away in Mecca. While the exact causes of their deaths have not been officially confirmed, they are believed to have died of natural causes.

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in Saudi Arabia confirmed the deaths. The Executive Secretary, Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, praying for Allah to grant them comfort and forgive the deceased.
