Less than 24 hours after a deadly assault on worshippers in Zamfara State, suspected bandits have struck again, abducting two residents from the Jangeru community on Thursday night.

Bakatsine, a security analyst based in the Northwest, confirmed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, stating, “Last night, bandits returned to Jangeru and kidnapped two people.”

This incident follows an earlier attack by Bello Turji’s group, which targeted worshippers in the community, resulting in multiple deaths, injuries, and several kidnappings.

To recap, on Wednesday night, the notorious bandit leader Bello Turji and his group carried out a brutal assault on a mosque in the Shanawa community, Zamfara State, leaving many worshippers wounded and abducting an unknown number of individuals.
