See the Numbers of Lives Deadly Clash Between Farmers and Herders Claims in Jigawa

At least 10 people have been killed, with several others injured, following a violent clash between farmers and herders in the Jahun Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
The most recent attack took place in Gidan Nagari, approximately two kilometers from where an earlier confrontation occurred in Gululu, in Miga Local Government Area. In the earlier incident, local farmers accused the herders of looting a store, which led to a deadly dispute, leaving nine people dead. This violence spread to neighboring Jahun LGA.
Haruna Mairiga, the head of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), confirmed the latest fatalities during a visit to the area on Friday morning. The victims included nine men and an eight-year-old girl, all from the farming community.
Reports indicate that the attackers set fire to houses in Gidan Nagari during the overnight assault, while shooting at residents attempting to escape their homes.
Efforts to contact the police spokesperson, Lawan Adam, for comment on the incident were unsuccessful.
