Shocking news: Everton handed Scott McTominay green signal …
Everton will be looking at how Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay will have recovered from his knee injury if they are to sign him, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that given the fact that he’s played both games for United this season, there’s every reason to believe that things are fine in terms of his fitness.
This comes after Sky Sports news editor Alan Myers revealed on 20 August that the Toffees are keen on the 27-year-old Scotland international.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy andSports Scientist, said about McTominay:
“Everton or any club signing him want to look at how he’s recovered from his recent knee injury and then if there are any outlier medical issues as well.
Based on his return this season and the number of appearances last season, everything appears to be ideal.
“He’s also played both matches in August and has been free of any major injuries over the last two seasons which is always a good sign.“
Everton appear set to miss out on Scott McTominay
While McTominay would’ve been a solid option for Sean Dyche, he appears to be heading to Napoli an agreement has been reached.
The Scotland international has proven himself time and again in the Premier League and would be an upgrade on Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The Toffees need to sign a new midfielder before the window ends as Idrissa Gueye cannot be considered a regular starter if the club are serious about avoiding relegation.
In other Everton news, Fabrizio Romano has issued an update as the Toffees are now eyeing the permanent transfer of a new defender.
