Stop Hiding Your Shame—Face the Accusations, Abdullahi Criticizes Senate President, Akpabio

Senate President, Akpabio
Nigerian political figure Mohammed Abdullahi has called on Senate President Godswill Akpabio to directly respond to the serious accusations of sexual misconduct leveled against him by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and others. Abdullahi criticized Akpabio’s alleged strategy of using individuals with questionable reputations to deflect attention from the controversy.
Abdullahi particularly referenced Professor Mgbake, whose recent public attacks on Senator Natasha have raised eyebrows. According to him, Mgbake’s conflicting statements—especially her public disclosure of Senator Akpabio’s personal phone number while denying any ties to him—suggest a level of coordination meant to mislead the public and shift focus from the actual allegations.
He expressed concern that Akpabio is leaning on individuals known for manipulative tactics in an attempt to manage public perception. Abdullahi also noted that Mgbake recently targeted Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma in a separate smear campaign via social media, further calling her credibility into question.
