Student Punished for Writing Love Letter to Teacher

A secondary school student, known as Ayomide or “Starboy,” faced discipline after he penned a love letter to a young female teacher during her teaching practice. Reports indicate that he slipped the note in with his homework, hoping to capture her attention.

The letter, which declared, “I like you, I want to date you! Love, love, love, Ayomide—Starboy,” left the teacher amused and prompted her to share it with school authorities. A video of this incident has since gone viral.

Reactions from netizens have been mixed; one user remarked, “Children today are so bold, it’s concerning,” while another humorously questioned, “Why is Starboy being punished?”
