Subomi Okoya Apologizes After EFCC Summons Him and His Brother Over Naira Abuse Incident

Subomi Okoya has issued a public apology after being invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for questioning over the controversial naira abuse incident involving him and his brother. In a statement addressing the Nigerian public, Subomi expressed regret over his actions, clarifying that they were never intended to cause harm or stir up trouble.

He stated, “To the Nigerian people, my actions were not meant to create any problems or distress. My intentions were innocent, though misguided, and I deeply regret the unintended consequences. I now realize that I was unaware of the potential ramifications of what I did, and I sincerely ask for your forgiveness and understanding as I navigate through this situation.”

The apology comes as the EFCC continues its investigation into the matter, with Subomi and his brother being called in for questioning. Subomi also appealed to the public for their support, acknowledging his mistake and expressing hope that the matter would be resolved peacefully.
