Tambuwal Returns to Sokoto Amidst Thunderous Cheers After EFCC Probe

Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, representing Sokoto South, was warmly greeted by residents of Sokoto on Thursday after his recent questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Footage posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account captured enthusiastic crowds lining the streets as the former governor of Sokoto State made his way into the city.
Upon his return, Tambuwal was welcomed by thousands of supporters and took the opportunity to address the crowd at his residence. He reaffirmed his commitment to championing “fair and democratic governance” in the state.
“I will not be cowed or threatened. I am confident that the truth will prevail, and we will emerge victorious,” he stated, receiving resounding cheers from his followers.
